The Last African — Patrick Qwesi
£2,700.00
Artist: Patrick Qwesi
Medium: Acrylic and oil sticks
Dimensions: 61 × 80 cm
The Last African explores how technology, rising costs and social change reshape cultural identity. Its layered, mask-like face brings together colour, pattern and texture to suggest the histories, struggles and experiences that make a person. The work asks what we protect, what we risk losing and what we carry forward as we adapt to a rapidly changing world.
