Afro Identity — Myles Terry (Framed)
£329.00
Artist: Myles Terry
Medium: Charcoal drawing on paper
Dimensions: A3 (artwork); 31 × 38.5 cm (framed)
Afro Identity considers the relationship between hair and identity. While the woman’s hair partly obscures her face, it does not conceal who she is. Instead, it communicates a more layered and complex story. Through a charcoal portrait, Myles Terry presents Black hair not as a barrier to seeing the subject but as something essential to understanding her.
