Hurricane Melissa hit the Caribbean hard, and for a lot of us, this wasn’t some distant headline. It affected places we know, people we care about, and communities we recognise. That’s what pushed us to create the Artists Unite: Hurricane Melissa Relief Fund - a space where art can actually fuel recovery.

With everyone's support, we've now raised £2,053, and that full amount has already been donated directly to Project Hope.

What Hurricane Melissa Left Behind

Hurricane Melissa brought devastation to several Caribbean nations, especially Jamaica, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic. Heavy rainfall resulted in significant flooding, damaging homes and infrastructure. Families have been displaced, and local resources are alarmingly scarce.

Project Hope stepped in fast. They built a field hospital after Noel Holmes General Hospital in Jamaica was heavily damaged, and they've been delivering clean water, medical supplies, hygiene kits, baby essentials, food and mental health services to the communities struggling the most.

The Artists Behind the Movement

The initiative is dedicated to fostering creativity while giving back to those in need. Featuring works from various talented artists, aims to raise funds specifically for Hurricane Melissa's relief efforts. And the heart of this campaign came from the artists who stepped forward with their pieces: Yvadney Davis, Sharon Walters, Tee Max, Lauren Little, Caroline Chinakwe, Donald Baugh, Gary March, Stephen Anthony Davids, Deborah Defoe and Ebonie Riley. Their pieces are the foundation of everything we've been able to do.

We're Not Done Yet

We’ve already made the first donation, but we’re not done. There are still prints and pieces available, so if you’ve had your eye on something, this is the perfect opportunity to collect a stunning piece of artwork while supporting relief efforts that are still very much needed.

By purchasing artwork from this collection, you are directly contributing to a crucial emergency response. Every penny raised (excluding postage and packaging) will go to support Project HOPE and help restore lives in the Caribbean. If buying isn’t an option right now, sharing the campaign is honestly just as valuable — it pushes the message further than we can do alone.
