Our Artists Unite: Hurricane Melissa Relief campaign has just been featured in The Art Newspaper, and it feels like an important moment for everyone involved.

This campaign came together from a place of urgency, community and care. When Hurricane Melissa hit Jamaica and the islands, the artists in our network didn’t hesitate. They offered their work, their time and their platforms to help raise funds for the families and communities rebuilding their lives. What started as a quick response grew into a collective effort that brought together artists across mediums, backgrounds and locations.

To see that recognised by The Art Newspaper, one of the most respected voices in the art world, means a lot. The feature sits alongside global initiatives also mobilising support, and it highlights how artists continue to play a vital role in moments of crisis. For us, it reinforces why The Lemon Seed Project exists: to create spaces where artists are seen, supported and connected to purpose.
