About the event
For the first time, Caroline Chinakwe’s artistic journey comes together under one roof.
The Lemon Seed Project is honoured to present Where Stories Live — an intimate exhibition celebrating one of the most distinctive visual storytellers exploring identity, heritage and contemporary Black culture today.

Working across photography, collage, painting, graphic design and textile-inspired pattern, Caroline creates richly layered works that celebrate the beauty, resilience and complexity of the African diaspora. Her work draws from fashion, music, architecture, popular culture and everyday life, combining vibrant colour, texture and symbolism to challenge perceptions and reclaim narratives.
Where Stories Live features ten works drawn from Caroline’s four major series, each exploring identity, heritage, representation and contemporary Black culture through her distinctive mixed-media language.
