Happy International Artists Day

What would the world be without art? Well it wouldn’t be the world at all.


Today (and everyday) we honour the artists who have made The Lemon Seed Project what is it, who have trusted us to join us on the journey and have blessed Havant house with their incredible works.


The Lemon Seed Project was founded to champion Black artists outside the sometimes constrictive frameworks of the traditional gallery system. We bring art back to where it belongs, at home. By placing works within a lived space, we allow collectors, gallerists, buyers, and curators to experience art as it’s meant to be seen.


Our mission is to give visibility to Black artists and to connect the dots so their work can be seen, valued, and acquired within an industry that can often feel difficult to break through.


Every artist who has exhibited with us brings their own story, their own voice, and their own truth to the space.
