JJACQZ
Jjacqz is a London-based poet, filmmaker and visual storyteller whose work combines photography, film and poetry into what she calls visual poetry. Born to Ugandan parents and raised in East London, she explores love, identity, migration and belonging through atmospheric, narrative-led imagery.
Nature to Nurture
Drawing on her experience as the daughter of Ugandan immigrants, Jjacqz uses water, landscape and the body to explore the relationship between origins and belonging, with nature as a metaphor for migration and resilience.
